Dampak Kolaborasi Penelitian Pendidikan antara Malaysia dan Indonesia terhadap Perkembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan di Asia Tenggara

Abstrak

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam pengaruh kolaborasi penelitian pendidikan antara Malaysia dan Indonesia dalam mendukung pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan di kawasan Asia Tenggara. Kolaborasi antar negara di bidang penelitian telah menjadi strategi penting untuk menghadapi tantangan global dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan tinggi. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengkaji berbagai bentuk kerja sama akademik yang telah terjalin selama dekade terakhir, termasuk publikasi ilmiah bersama, program pertukaran dosen dan mahasiswa, penyelenggaraan konferensi ilmiah regional, dan pembentukan jaringan penelitian yang melibatkan institusi dari kedua negara. Data dikumpulkan melalui tinjauan dokumen, laporan kelembagaan, dan publikasi ilmiah yang diakses dari sumber terpercaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi penelitian Malaysia-Indonesia berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan produktivitas ilmiah, sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh tren peningkatan jumlah publikasi bersama dari tahun ke tahun. Selain itu, kolaborasi ini mendorong diversifikasi bidang studi, memperkuat pertukaran pengetahuan lintas budaya, dan membentuk ekosistem penelitian yang lebih inklusif dan kompetitif di tingkat regional. Selain itu, hal ini memperkuat posisi strategis Asia Tenggara sebagai kawasan yang berkembang pesat dalam berkontribusi pada lanskap pengetahuan global. Studi ini merekomendasikan perlunya jaringan penelitian regional yang lebih terstruktur, peningkatan investasi dalam kerja sama akademik lintas batas, dan harmonisasi kebijakan pendidikan tinggi di kawasan sebagai langkah strategis untuk masa depan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar bagi pembuat kebijakan dan pemangku kepentingan dalam merancang strategi kolaboratif yang berkelanjutan dan berdampak.
