Peran Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Membentuk Karakter Siswa Literasi Digital di Era Modern

Abstrak
Perkembangan teknologi digital telah memberikan dampak signifikan pada dunia pendidikan, termasuk proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Guru PAI tidak hanya dituntut untuk menguasai materi keagamaan, tetapi juga memiliki keterampilan literasi digital agar dapat membimbing siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan era modern. Literasi digital dalam konteks ini melampaui kemampuan teknis untuk menggunakan teknologi, tetapi juga mencakup pemahaman etis, kritis, dan religius tentang media. Dengan demikian, guru PAI memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk generasi yang tidak hanya melek digital tetapi juga mampu menggunakan teknologi secara bijak sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Studi ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan meninjau berbagai literatur terkait literasi digital, peran guru, dan pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI memiliki peran strategis dalam tiga aspek utama: sebagai pembimbing etika digital, fasilitator pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, dan teladan dalam penggunaan media digital secara bijak. Hal ini sejalan dengan kebutuhan pendidikan di era Revolusi Industri 5.0, di mana penguasaan teknologi harus diimbangi dengan penanaman nilai-nilai spiritual dan moral. Tantangan yang muncul meliputi kompetensi digital guru yang terbatas, sumber daya yang terbatas, dan arus informasi negatif yang cepat yang berpotensi merusak karakter siswa. Namun, dengan strategi yang tepat seperti mengintegrasikan literasi digital Islam ke dalam pembelajaran, pelatihan digital bagi guru, dan kolaborasi dengan orang tua, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dapat membentuk generasi yang melek digital, cerdas, dan berkarakter Islam, sehingga mereka siap menghadapi dinamika kehidupan global yang kompleks.
